Welcome to Allerthorpe Lakeland Park Campsite in the Heart of Yorkshire

We have 2 separate areas for touring pitches for short stays as well as seasonal pitches if you prefer to be here all year round. The touring pitches do get booked up especially at the weekends and on bank holidays, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Caravan and Campervan Prices:
Each pitch is level and has an electric hook up, we have 3 sites, 2 are overlooking the main lake but with limited availability. And the 3rd is next to our peaceful 3rd Wildlife lake. The lake is fenced off for safety from the site but with gate access.

Tents:
Tents pitches are within the main site near to the amenities and a separate tent only field with lots of space next to our 3rd Wildlife lake (fenced off for safety) which is along a short lane from the main lake and facilities for those who prefer to be in away from it all and if the main site is full. Electric hookups are available in this.

Site Facilities:
Full access to the 53 acres of lakeside and woodland walks. No additional entrance charges. Swimming in the lake is not permitted unless in the open water swimming session and children must be supervised at all times in the cordoned off shallow area during the summer months.

Yorkshire Wolds Campsite

Camping at Allerthorpe Lakeland Park   If you really want to experience the great outdoors then jumping in the car with a tent and pitching up is a fantastic way to do it. With the lake so close and the beautiful countryside of the Wolds only a 15 minute drive away here at Allerthorpe you can really experience the outdoors. Tents pitches are within the main site near to the amenities and a separate tent only field with lots of space next to our 3rd lake (fenced off) which is along a short lane from the main lake and facilities for those who prefer to be in away from it all and if the main site is full. Electric hookups are available in this.

Swimming in the lake is not permitted unless in the open water swimming session and children must be supervised at all times in the cordoned off shallow area during the summer months. Local public houses are The Plough Inn at Allerthorpe and the Melbourne Arms in Melbourne which are within short driving distance. Plenty of local walks off site and places to visit in the local wolds town of Pocklington including the canals and Burnby Hall gardens.  We stock plenty of free local visitor guides and leaflets on reception. All Prices are Per night and includes 2 Adults and 2 Children as standard. Please note, the campsite is very busy during 3 annual Triathlon events, please check dates on our events page. Participants do need to book in advance.

Picnic / Disposable BBQ’s – We do not allow any form of BBQs around the park following a couple of incidents where the bins have been set on fire, we do however make an exception for those in the camping field on the proviso that they are lifted well of the ground to prevent burning of the grass.
