Enjoy popular watersports suitable for all ages and abilities here at Allerthorpe Lakeland Park, plus our hugely popular inflatable Aqua Park and open water swimming sessions.

We are set in 53 acres of grounds with 3 lakes, cafe and plenty to offer with activities, lakeside short walks, local wildlife, triathlon hosts and seasonal events and activities.

Find us a short drive from Pocklington, a local market town set on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, and 10 miles from the historic city of York.

Main Lake

Our Main Lake is the hub of activities where the water sports take place, cordoned off children’s paddling area, and elements of play and climbing equipment.

Our Lakeside Café and veranda overlook the main lake and next door to the enclosed play area for toddlers.

Find plenty of picnic benches and seating dotted around our grounds.

Admission & Opening Hours

Admission is required for entrance to the Park and covers general facilities, play park, lakeside walks and car-parking. Please pre-book online.

Please check admission availability BEFORE booking water sports and seasonal activities.

Unfortunately failure to pre-book an admission ticket before visiting the park may result in refusal of entry. Water sports and seasonal activities bookings do not include admission. Under 3’s go free for admission.

Admission is not required for use of the Cafe only, or for Open Water Swimming (OWS) members during the OWS sessions.

Lakeside Cafe

Our Lakeside Cafe and veranda with outdoor seating overlook the main sports lake.

Serving tasty full English breakfasts, tea for two during the week, daily specials, snacks and delicious homemade cakes.

Our Lakeside Cafe is open to non-activity centre visitors. Cyclists are welcome with secure bike racks and covered seating outside for large groups.
