Whether you’re visiting for lunch in our Lakeside Café, trying your hand at watersports, joining an open water swimming session or staying a while at our campsite, Allerthorpe Lakeland Park is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the outdoors, whatever the season.
Set in 53 acres with three lakes, there’s so much to explore. Wander our lakeside and woodland walks, feed our huge fish and say hello to our resident donkeys and goats. Little ones will love the play equipment dotted around the main lake and our secure play area.
You’ll find us a short drive from Pocklington, a local market town on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, and just 10 miles from the historic city of York.

Spooky Fun by the Lake
This October half term, swap the screens for spooky fun in the fresh air! Follow our Halloween lakeside trail and solve the questions hidden along the way as you wander through the crunchy autumn leaves.
Keep your eyes peeled for our hidden purple pumpkin. If you spot it, bring it to reception to claim a spooky sweet treat!
Don’t forget to stop at our spooky photo board for a memorable family snap, perfect for sharing!
Our reception and Lakeside Café will be dressed for the occasion. Warm up afterwards with our tasty seasonal specials, the perfect end to a frightfully fun day out.

From hearty full English breakfasts to light lunches, snacks and delicious homemade cakes, there’s something to tempt everyone. Look out for our weekly favourites, Wednesday Pie Specials and Fish & Chip Friday, perfect for a cosy lunch after a walk around the lakes.
This season, warm up with our pumpkin spiced and chai lattes. From 18th November to 20th December, our festive Christmas lunch menu is available too. Pre-bookings only.
Everyone’s welcome, whether you’re visiting the park, stopping off on a bike ride or meeting up with friends. Cyclists can use our secure bike racks, and there’s covered outdoor seating for larger groups.
Lakeside Café
Enjoy fresh, homemade food with a view. Our Lakeside Café and veranda overlook the main lake, so you can watch the world go by inside or out.
Main Lake
Our Main Lake is the heart of the action. It’s where you can try your hand at watersports for all ages and abilities, from pedalos to kayaking and paddleboarding, with our friendly team on hand to help you get started.
Prefer to get in the water? Join one of our open water swimming (OWS) sessions. Our lake is the perfect place to build confidence, train for your next challenge or simply enjoy a refreshing dip. See our OWS page for session times.
Our hugely popular inflatable Aqua Park is now closed for the season, but it’s back in May 2027, so keep an eye out for bookings opening!
